Hello my music loving friends and Harmonious Wail fans,

What a year eh? I am more of a seasons guy than a holiday type guy so Dec 21 resonates more powerfully with me as a turning point.

“But tomorrow may rain, so I’ll follow the sun”

So let’s call this note a year in review (with many many thank you’s) and a peek into 2016.

In the early parts of 2015 the Wail made trips to Florida, Texas, Missouri, and points west – ND, WY . In early March Henry went on ahead and Mag and Sims disappeared to Ireland for a few weeks. Through the summer the Wail was in Colorado and Wyoming a bunch and some excellent Wisconsin shows as well as another east coast swing. In the eleventh hour we pulled together another wonderfully successful Midwest Gypsy Swing Fest back at the Art in the Barn and in October we took 20 Wail fans with us on an Inishfree Ireland tour. Life changing – more news later about returning to Ireland with another select group of Wail-ee’s (step right up, step right up – tickets are going fast!). A quick trip to Philly in November and here we are in the last weeks of 2015.

Before I get to the when-we’ll-be-where part of the program I have a couple of business items.

I want to start adding section to these wailmails to introduce you to our newly enhanced wail team and our cool sponsors and endorsements. At the head table is Chris Webb – Harmonious Wail ‘s manager, Jess Parvin, HWail’s booking assistant, Josh Klemons the wail’s social network guru and Todd Weiss the Wail’s publicist.

We met Chris Webb at the Folk Alliance conference in Kansas City last Feb. We need to thank Willy Porter for connecting us – he has been Willy’s guy for years and also manages Tony Furtado. Chris has been extremely helpful and helps me stay focused on the top of the wail biz priority list.

We’ll get to the other guys in future wailmails. onto the gigs !

and just because I was thinking of this earlier…….

One day you’ll look to see I’ve gone
For tomorrow may rain, so I’ll follow the sun
Some day you’ll know I was the one
But tomorrow may rain, so I’ll follow the sun

And now the time has come
And so my love I must go
And though I lose a friend
In the end you will know, oooh

One day you’ll find that I have gone
But tomorrow may rain, so I’ll follow the sun
