This annual celebration of the music of Django Reinhardt and other gypsy jazz musicians past and present featuring Black Market Trust, Harmonious Wail with Bjorn Thoroddsen, and Hot Club of Las Vegas. Local musicians jam from 4-6 p.m.; this session will be open to anyone who wishes to jam with other jazz lovers. The performance starts at 6 p.m.; refreshments will be available for purchase. Parking will be available in the garage between Third and Fourth streets at Clark Avenue.

6:00 – 6:45 p.m. | Hot Club of Las Vegas
Hot Club of Las Vegas is a Gypsy Jazz band that performs the music of Django Reinhardt, Bireli Lagrene, The Rosenberg Trio, and other Gypsy Djazz music past and present including, Gypsy Jazz Bolero, and Flamenco Rhumba songs. Americana flavored Gypsy Jazz on full tilt! Harmonious Wail combines the searing wit, humor and mandolin virtuosity of vintage Jethro Burns performances, the Continental panache of Django and charm of Edith Piath inspired vocals to create a unique musical journey. 8:30 – 9:45 p.m. | The Black Market Trust
Their music is featured on TV shows like the ABC television series “Happy Endings” and the Hulu original program “Casual.” The band features the Django Reinhardt inspired gypsy sound of acoustic instruments, and infuses classics from the Great American Songbook with intricate vocal harmonies inspired by The Beach Boys, and other artists influential to the group. Their sophomore album “II” featured a Top Ten hit on the Adult Contemporary charts, a signature version of “Route 66”. Black Market Trust 2018
